Description

What this bot does

An open-source bot that keeps spam bots out of Telegram groups. When someone joins, it temporarily mutes them and posts a second-grade math question with several answer buttons. A person taps a button and can chat again; spam bots that never answer stay restricted.

Features

  • 🧮 Math CAPTCHA — an addition, subtraction, multiplication or division question with six answer buttons, and the right answer is never the first one.
  • ⏱️ Time limit — members who do not answer within three minutes stay restricted.
  • 🛡️ Manual decision — admins can approve or remove a newcomer by hand with the buttons under the challenge.
  • 🧹 Clean chat — passed challenges are deleted automatically after 15 seconds.
  • 💬 Bilingual messages — challenges and greetings are written in Chinese and English.
  • 🔓 Open source — the MIT-licensed code is on GitHub, so you can run your own copy.

How to use

  1. Add @p4captchabot to your group.
  2. Make it an admin with the Ban users permission — this turns the protection on.
  3. Remove the permission whenever you want to turn it off.
