Mention Robot

What it does

Mention Robot solves the everyday group problem of getting everyone's attention. Instead of typing out dozens of usernames, you write #all (or @all) in a chat where the bot is present and it pings the members for you; #admin (or @admin) narrows the call down to the administrators only.

It is useful for announcements, polls that need a quorum, raid or match calls in gaming communities, and for flagging a problem to the moderation team without knowing who is on duty. Large chats are notified in batches, and if a mention was started by mistake it can be stopped mid-run.

How to use

1. Add the bot to your group.
2. Give it admin rights so it can read and answer messages.
3. Send #all for everyone or #admin for the moderation team.
4. Use /cancel if you need to stop a long mention.
5. Tune the behaviour with /settings and the language with /language.
